Scott Sumner is a residential and commercial indoor environmental investigator. Scott holds degrees in Construction Systems and Biology from East Carolina University and possesses an extensive knowledge of building structure design. He has 10 years of remediation experience and holds multiple certifications from the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification), including master certifications in Water Damage Restoration and Fire & Smoke Restoration, and instructor certifications in Fire & Smoke, Odor Control, and Trauma. Scott is a certified IICRC instructor and has taught certification training classes across the country for five years.

Scott is a designated CMI, making him a certified expert in micbrobial investigation and testing. When not working or studying, Scott enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family.
