Assessments of Residential Properties
A general assessment includes real-time IAQ measurements, moisture scanning, sample collecting, a visible inspection for water damage and microbial growth, and a report detailing the findings of the assessment with recommendations on what to do. Of course, assessments can always be tailored to your particular needs and concerns.
We offer full and targeted assessments, which both use the same process; the only difference is size. In a targeted assessment, the investigation in confined to a certain space, such as a bathroom or laundry room. Targeted assessments are useful when the potential issue can be traced to a specific area.
In a full assessment, the entire house is investigated, with the exception of the attic and/or the crawl space. (Attics and/or crawl spaces can be added on to full assessments for a discounted price).

- Collecting and comparing data from room to room
- Analyzing the data to make recommendations for improvements
- Searching for moisture sources
- Identifying potential mold
- Collecting any air and/or surface samples where mold may be present
- Sending samples to an accredited lab to determine amount and type(s) of mold
- Creating a thorough assessment report that includes detailed information about the visual observations, the readings taken, and the sample results, as well as recommendations on how to address any issues that were found
