Common Reasons to Get Tested

Environmental concerns can arise at any stage of homeownership. Here are the situations we see most often.

Buying a Home

A standard home inspection doesn't test for mold, air quality, or water contaminants. Add ESG to your due diligence before you close, and know exactly what you're buying.

Health Concerns

Unexplained symptoms like headaches, fatigue, respiratory issues, and allergies can sometimes be traced back to indoor air quality. Testing gives you answers.

Visible Mold or Musty Smell

If you can see it or smell it, you need independent testing, not a remediation company with an incentive to find more than is actually there.

Remodeling or Renovation

Disturbing walls, flooring, or older building materials can release mold spores, lead dust, and VOCs. Test before and after to protect your family and contractors.

We Never Remediate, and That Protects You

Many environmental testing companies also sell remediation services. On the surface that seems convenient. But think about what it means: the company testing your home profits more if they find a serious problem. That's a direct conflict of interest.

ESG has never offered remediation and never will. Our entire business is built on one thing: providing accurate, unbiased test results. When your tester has no financial stake in the outcome, you get the truth.

If remediation is needed, we'll tell you. We can even help you understand the scope so you can evaluate bids from contractors without being taken advantage of. But we'll never be that contractor, and that line will never blur.

Our Commitment
"When your tester has no financial stake in finding problems, you get the truth."

ESG's independence is the foundation of every report we deliver. No upsell. No inflated findings. No pressure. Just certified, objective results you can act on with confidence, whether that means doing nothing, monitoring, or calling a remediation contractor.

Simple. Transparent. Thorough.
